Beatles 1962-1966 Red Album GrooveBowl, The

$35.00
Sold Out
Widely known as The Red Album, it's recognized as the first Beatles compilation since their breakup on 31 December 1970. This is the second pressing of the compilation with the "Capitol" logo.

This GrooveBowl includes one of the two disks of the compilation, one sleeve, and the cover. Interestingly, that front cover features the distinctive 1963 color shot of the group looking down over the stairwell inside EMI's London headquarters and the back cover shows the group, six years later, reenacting the same shot. The inner gatefold black and white photo is from the "Mad Day Out" photo session of July 28th 1968.

It's no surprise that The Red Album reached #1 in the U.S. Cashbox albums chart.

And it'll be no surprise that this will be a very popular GrooveBowl. It's 4 beautiful and curvaceous inches high with 3 non-slip transparent rubber feet. The spindle hole has been capped and the labels have been lacquered.

Comes in a 12 3/4 x 12 3/4 by 4 3/4 inch corrugated paperboard box, so it's ready to be shipped as a gift. We'll even add a note conveying your best wishes.

Keep the Groove Bowl away from liquids and messy foods. It's not microwave or dishwasher safe, so please treat it with the same respect the old folks gave their records.

I'm sure you'll find some use for it, but it's so very handsome as it is, you might not want to dress it up.
