Do we have a new winner for longest GrooveBowl name? Yes we do, just beating out the Janis Joplin I Got Dem Ol' Kozmic Blues Again Mama GrooveBowl by a nose!

The seventh album by Prince and The Revolution, it was released by Warner Brothers on April 22, 1985. As Prince wished, Around The World In One Day was released with minimal publicity, not even releasing an accompanying single until almost a full month after the album's release. Prince preferred the public to first experience the record in its entirety rather than through any particular song.

Despite the low-key promotion, it still had two US top 10 hits, went double platinum and was an important step in Prince's musical evolution, incorporating new instruments and musical styles. This, taken together with the psychedelic vibe that pervades much of the record, drew numerous comparisons to The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album.

Even the label is outstanding! Just take a look.

And as a GrooveBowl it's 4 inches tall and sits on 3 clear rubber feet, the spindle hole has been capped and the labels have been lacquered, comes with the original album cover in a 12 3\/4 x 12 3\/4 by 4 3\/4 inch corrugated paperboard box, so it's ready to be shipped as a gift. We'll even add a note conveying your best wishes.

Keep the GrooveBowl away from liquids and mushy foods. OddBob's rule of thumb regarding food and GrooveBowls: "If you can carry it in your pocket, you can put it in a GrooveBowl." It's not microwave or dishwasher safe, so please treat it with the same respect the old folks gave their records.

But you CAN use it for so many other things. But the GrooveBowl is so very handsome. Some might even call it pretty. The kind of pretty you don't want to dress up.
