Pink Floyd The Wall GrooveBowl

$30.00
The Wall is the ninth studio album by English progressive rock group Pink Floyd. Presented as a double album, it was released on November 30th 1979.

The album was presented as a rock opera. It centered on the character Pink, who encounters obstacles throughout his life, beginning with the loss of his father during World War II, continuing with abuse from his schoolteachers, an overprotective mother, and the desertion of his wife – all of which factor into Pink's isolation from society, represented by the metaphorical "Wall" of the album title.

The whole concept came about when Pink Floyd were playing their first tour in large stadiums, and in July 1977 - on the final date at the Montreal Olympic Stadium - a small group of noisy and excited fans in the front row of the audience irritated Waters to such an extent that he spat at one of them. He hated playing in stadiums, and told of how he sometimes felt like building a wall to separate himself from the audience.

And there you have it.

And now you have this: The Wall GrooveBowl. It's 4 inches high and stands on 3 clear non-slip rubber feet, the spindle hole has been capped and the labels have been lacquered.

Comes without the original album cover in a 12 3\/4 x 12 3\/4 by 4 3\/4 inch corrugated paperboard box, so it's ready to be shipped as a gift. We'll even add a note conveying your best wishes.

Keep the GrooveBowl away from liquids and messy foods. Remember OddBob's rule of thumb regarding messy foods and GrooveBowls: "Niet". It's not microwave or dishwasher safe, so please treat it with the same respect the old folks gave their records.

But you CAN use it for so many other things. Then again, the GrooveBowl IS so very, very beautiful as it is.
