Pink Floyd Meddle GrooveBowl
$30.00
Meddle, the fifth studio album by English rock band Pink Floyd was released in October 1971. It was recorded at a series of locations around London, including the legendary Abbey Road Studios. The band devised a series of novel experiments leading to the album's signature track, "Echoes" which takes up an entire side of the album.
Pink Floyd's recording sessions would begin late in the afternoon, and end early the next morning, usually during which time nothing would get done. There was no record company contact except when their label manager would show up every so often with wine and a couple of joints. The band would apparently spend long periods of time working on simple sounds, or a particular guitar riff. Eventually, over the spread of a year, Meddle was complete.
Talk about procrastination. I can well imagine Mrs Waters talking to her teenage son: "Roger!... Roger!... How many times have I told you to clean up your room!"
Well, this GrooveBowl's spotless. It's 4 inches high, all smooth and perfectly curvy, it has 3 clear non-slip rubber feet and the spindle hole has been capped and the labels lacquered.
Comes with the original album cover in a 12 3\/4 x 12 3\/4 by 4 3\/4 inch corrugated paperboard box, so it's ready to be shipped as a gift. We'll even add a note conveying your best wishes.
Keep the Groove Bowl away from liquids and messy foods. It's not microwave or dishwasher safe, so please treat it with the same respect the old folks gave their records.
But you CAN use your GrooveBowl for so many other things. Or you could just sit there staring at it while declaring, in a rock star British accent, that you'll eventually experiment putting stuff in your GrooveBowl.
